About Us

How it all began...

Cajun Outdoor & Firearms LLC was the result of a brainstorming session between Alex Crochet and his team at Cajun Pump & Supply LLC. They were trying to figure out what they could do to level out the ups and downs of the oil field. All sorts of ideas were being thrown out. Things like building utility trailers, working on small engine equipment like lawnmowers, and building BBQ grills.

Brody Broussard and Joey Bodin have always loved to make smokers, grills, and fire pits for friends and family. Then, like a sign from above, a friend who works at Iberia Medical Center asked for some help to repair an old BBQ Pit that was behind the hospital. We immediately said we could help, and did the whole thing for free as a thank you to the workers at the hospital for everything they have gone through during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We received a little bit of publicity from that and were contacted by a few people about fixing their old grills. So, we started to really look at building and repairing outdoor equipment.

We knew that building and repairing grills would give us some work, but nice, well built equipment is not cheap. We knew that would not provide us with the steady work we were looking for by itself. One day we were talking about how things like ammunition and even gun parts were hard to find and it did not seem like websites and stores were giving any personal service to help people in the shortage. Something that is inherent to all of us here is to help our customers as much as we can. We knew we could offer this service to the public and do it well.

As a result, Cajun Outdoor & Firearms LLC was created on February 3rd, 2021. Shortly after, we applied for our FFL and started emailing and calling every major firearms distributor that we could find in hopes of helping people get the things they are looking for. We also partnered up with some other companies that manufacture unique components that allow us to create amazing smokers and grills.

All in all, we are just a group of people looking to make a living and help our customers enjoy the outdoors the Cajun way!
