Shipping
All items with the exception of Ammunition will be shipped via the carrier of our choosing. We typically use UPS & Fed-Ex, but some items may be shipped by other carriers.
Returns
Returns will only be accepted for merchandise found defective immediately upon receipt after an authorization has been given. Cajun Outdoor & Firearms LLC will provide YOUR CHOICE of a replacement item (pending availability) or full refund on all non-firearm products found defective upon receipt. Cajun Outdoor & Firearms LLC will not claim any responsibility for items damaged in shipping. For items damaged in shipping, Users need to file a claim with the carrier. If you receive a defective item, please immediately call the shop at 337-223-2242 to request a return label and authorization.
VERY IMPORTANT- FIREARM RETURNS!!
All firearms sales are final. Please take your time to inspect all firearms thoroughly BEFORE proceeding with the transfer. Once a new firearm is transferred to you it is considered used, even if unfired. Consequently, we cannot provide a full refund for new firearms once they have been transferred into your possession. Also, we DO NOT reimburse FFL transfer fees on returned items. We do understand that some manufacturer defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection. However, upon discovering a defect AFTER the transfer, the firearm MUST be returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with manufacturer’s warranty policy). By sending a defective firearm directly to the manufacturer, you can avoid the unnecessary transfer fees of returning the firearm to us through your local FFL dealer. PLEASE DO NOT SEND DEFECTIVE FIREARMS DIRECTLY TO Cajun Outdoor & Firearms LLC . Manufacturer repaired firearms can be returned directly to the customer without additional FFL transfer or associated fees. However, if the manufacturer chooses to replace the firearm, the replacement firearm must transfer through your local FFL dealer to document the replacement firearm serial number.
DENIALS ON TRANSFERS
Please do not order a firearm if you are not legally allowed to purchase one. If you purchase a firearm and are denied and you believe the denial is an error, please ask the transferring FFL for all information needed to appeal the decision.
In cases where the transferring FFL is is unable to transfer the firearm to the purchaser because of a denial by the FBI or ATF, or if the transferring FFL's policy is to only transfer with a "Proceed" from the FBI or ATF, then the purchaser may ask the transferring FFL if they wish to purchase the firearm or sell it on consignment. If the transferring FFL does declines, Cajun Outdoor & Firearms LLC will accept the firearm back, but we will charge a 50% restocking fee of the sale amount. The purchaser must pay for the return shipping and whatever fees the transferring FFL wishes to charge for the service. If the firearm is missing any parts or accessories that are included when new, or if there are any signs of abuse or damage to the firearm or accessories, Cajun Outdoor & Firearms LLC will not issue a refund until after the firearm has sold in our store. At that point, the refund amount will be equal to 50% of the used sale price, or 50% of the original sale price of the firearm, whichever is less.
